Rod Mckuen

1933년 4월 29일 미국 태생의 포크 싱어 송라이터 Rod McKuen은 시인이자 영문학자이다.
그는 Jaques Brel의 Ne Me Quittes Pas에 영어가사를 붙여 If You Go Away라는 곡으 로 발표하여 초 대힛트곡으로 만들었고 1974년 테리 잭스가 노래한 Seasons in the sun을 작곡한 작곡가이기도 하다.

그는 30여년간의 30여장의 앨범을 발표하였으며 빗방울이 지붕을 두드릴때 들어야 어울 릴것 같은 우울하면서도 편안한 목소리의 소유자이다.
